Candy Night

The competition continues for who will throw THE best Halloween party this weekend and Candy Night: The Official Halloween Party seems like a strong contender. To all the sweets lover, always needing to satisfy your sweet tooth, this event is especially for you. Even the promoters, Class Night Productions, 2Much Entertainment and Friends, say that Diabetics should abstain. Now that’s some serious stuff!

The Club House – by Rosalie (Peel metro) will host this mega event which somehow costs only $10 (limited quantity). Each ticket affords you two (2) CD’s (Kompa and also Dancehall and Hip Hop) and you guessed it, CANDY. It runs from 10 pm to 3 am for ONE night only!

Let me try and paint a picture for you. Think lollipops, assorted candy, CHOCOLATES (my fave) and jujubes being offered in a space tastefully decorated like any chocolate shop worth its salt. The missing piece to the puzzle? YOU!

Limitless sweets and alcohol all night (ID required) look like the makings of a great night, plus a prize for the best costume (not mandatory) and other prizes just put the cherry on top.

DJ’s J Platinum D (Kompa & Du Zouk), DJ Shawtime (Dancehall and Hip Hop), DJ Ricko (Old School Jam) and DJ Nyce will serve up a sweet blend of Dancehall, Soca, Afro Beat, Zouk, Kompa Hip Hop, GNI and House music.

This event is neither for the faint at heart nor for those who can’t indulge in sweets all night. Get ready! *Cue* Foxy Brown and Kelis’ “Candy”!

There can be up to eight (8) teams so don’t waste anytime in signing your team up on the events’ Facebook page.

After the beat battle, it’s full on party mode until 3 am and the best part about it is each person in attendance gets to hear a song they sent in to be played.
